Texas Longhorns

As usual, buying and selling cattle are the name of the game when raising cattle.  Sometimes I have intentions of keeping a few really good calves or cows, but when the price to sell is right or the price to buy is right, then I change the mix of cows/bulls accordingly. Unfortunately, with the drought and cost of feed, it has been necessary to limit the number of animals I keep.  Hopefully, I don't regret selling any of those that I have sold, or any that I have purchased.  I have had two New Mexico Grand Champion Bulls.  My first was Cross M Del Rio which I sold, and the second was one of his off-spring E/ Zephyr which I butchered. My cows are currently bred to the below bull, even though he has now been sold.
